I just downloaded Windows Live Writer so that I can compose blog entries from outside the browser window. I’m not expecting much, after all it is a microsoft product. I’ll try and embed a picture and see how it works. I am already quite happy with the blogging software on WordPress so if this doesn’t work I’ll have no problems uninstalling the program (although it will probably screw up my system and force another formatting session).
Well, it seems to have worked. The only thing I didn’t like was that the picture was placed at the top of the page, justified to the left but the text did not wrap around the text. I fixed this editing the post in wordpress. I don’t really want to do this every time but I guess if I have to post a picture I’ll just have to jump though the hoops. What I did like is that the image was resized immediately when I inserted it (which is easier then uploading to wordpress then inserting them).
